Customer Service Emails
Rocket Cart (Lite and Pro editions) automatically generates and sends emails to your customers keeping them informed about the progress of their order.
The following emails are sent at these points of contact. Emails are sent as HTML emails with text only. You can request for Rocket Cart's default emails to be customised with alternative text, additional images and logos, but additional costs will apply.
(Before you commission any customisation, it is worth remembering that some of your customers may block emails with pictures in their email settings).
What The 'Default' Emails Say
- Confirmation email — This is sent to a customer when they first make an order, to tell them the order has been received. This email reads as follows:
Hi there (name of customer*),
This is just a quick note to let you know we've received the following order from you:
(details of Code Product Price Qty Total)
You will receive another notification when the order is shipped.
Best regards,
(Your Company Name) - Contact email — This is sent to you, the shop owner to notify you of a customer enquiry. This email reads as follows:
This is an automated comment notification from your website.
The following comment was received from (customer name) (customer's email) at (time):
(customer comment or enquiry text) - Password email — This is sent to a customer when they ask for a new password for their account because they've forgotten their existing one. This email reads as follows:
Hi there (name of customer),
Your new Rocket Cart password is: (password) For your security, please log in and change your password as soon as possible.
Best regards,
(Your Company Name) - Order notification email — This is sent to you, the shop owner when a customer first places an order. This email reads as follows:
